impressive, considering the lack of thumbs
Written by patty on July 30th, 2009She doesn’t like dog food.
Even if what’s in the can is exactly the same as what’s in the dog food can, she prefers the shorter, wider cans of cat food. And their contents.
I woke up late this morning, skipping the deadlift workout because of exhaustion. Bleary eyed, I emerged from my bedroom to make the coffee.
But I was distracted from my mission. By Talullah. In the living room. Chewing this:

It’s pretty impressive, opening a cat food can and extracting half of its contents without the benefit of thumbs.
As we secured our vacation rental house, I explained to the agent “Our older dog is the best dog on the face of the planet. He’s 13 1/2, has been to the Vineyard 6 or 7 times, and is better behaved than my children. The younger dog,” I added “is pretty good. But because we know better than to trust a dog until around the age of 3, we’ll bring her crate with us. And she’ll remain there whenever we’re not in the house with her. For her own good.”
Also? For the good of any stray canned goods in your kitchen.

By some strange twist of fate, it is said that cat food has more protien than dog food. Who knows? Maybe your dog does!

Don’t be fooled. The cat opened it and planted it in front of Talullah’s nose.
This is a clear case of entrapment.
