Written by patty on January 3rd, 2010With near-daily trips to the dog park, we’ve been spending a good bit of time outside. When Henry was a pup, we spent a lot of time in Waveny Park, walking the trails and enjoying the company of our little knucklehead. We’re always happy to stroll these gorgeous grounds after Talullah has a romp in the dog park, especially with two boys who need to burn off some of their cooped-up cabin fever energy during this frigid winter break.
The first photo of the wintry Waveny fields, while pretty, is nothing terribly special.

A few clicks with cool fx on my iPhone, and it’s completely transformed. Horizon fixed, foreground cropped, sharpness increased, colors completely changed.

With my new commitment to update my house, this will be the year. The year when I say f-it and print out photos that are less than perfect, put them in that stack of IKEA frames I’ve got in spades, and hang them on the damn walls already. Art doesn’t have to come from a store.
However, couches do. Couches come from stores. Or craigslist. And I need a new one for my living room.
Sigh. It never ends.

Cool! Art absolutely doesn’t have to come from stores. You are well stocked.
We need a couch, too. Are there January sales, in which couches are given away?
